Mirza Ghasemi is from the Qajar period in Iran. This delicious food was invented by and named after Mohammad Qasem Khan, the ruler of Rasht during the reign of Nasser al-Din Shah. Qasem Khan enjoyed cooking and trying new recipes. During his reign in Gilan, he created a unique plate combining grilled eggplant, garlic, and tomatoes known as Mirza Ghasemi. This good is one of the most authentic dishes in Iranian cuisine, made with tomatoes, grilled eggplant, garlic, spices, and eggs, and in Gilan it is served with Iranian rice as the main dish, but in most Iranian cities it is eaten with bread.
